Description
The plumeria flower represents birth and love; spring and new beginnings. It's an extremely positive and hopeful symbol, so it's no surprise that it's extremely popular and adored. In Hawaiian culture, the plumeria can be used to symbolize a woman's romantic status when worn in the hair. The image was captured with a Nikon camera in the Eastern side of Oahu, Hawaii.
“That's something every islander knows--there's always going to be another hurricane. Another storm. Everything buried will surface again, and everything you thought would last forever will come down eventually. But you rebuild. You dredge. You keep moving, keep adding new. That's how we go on living.”
― Roseanna M. White
