A Tahiti Daffodil variety captured with a Samsung camera and lens at the Dallas Arboretum, in Dallas, Texas.
In the 1950s, the Irish daffodil breeder J. Lionel Richardson developed a series of double flowers with exotic names, including 'Tahiti.' He was especially fond of daffodils with deep orange in their cups, providing a striking contrast to their brilliant gold petals.
