The October Magic Camellia prefers a sunny, sheltered position. Usually one of the earliest of the autumn-flowering camellias to bloom, with anemone to paeony-form, rose pink flowers from early October to November. Upright, vigorous and slightly open habit. White, scented, anemone-form flowers produced profusely in October/November.

I captured this image in the Dallas Arboretum, Dallas, Texas with a Nikon camera and lens. In addition a painterly overlay has been added to the image. The light leaks are natural from the capture and have not enhanced
