A Sense of You
I spent the morning visiting a haunt beyond the village square;
where pungent pine heavily lingered in the crisp morning air.
And long shadows hide behind a warm sidereal sunshine…
Creating shimmering sparkles, off the lakes’ quiet coastline…
I was in a persistent repose…
And why it was important to walk alone.
Realizing, I had spoken hours upon days into the now; to a reflective helmsman, a legitimate old soul…
From that time beyond the sea, we have both known.
And all this day through…
Was spent simply discovering a sense of you…
